Seeking Refuge - En Tu Presencia

I grew up as a very devout child, since I was little I always had a profound love for God. I was ecstatic about going to church and wanted to sing an learn as many hymns as possible. There is one (in spanish) that I hold very dear to my heart.

En tu presencia solo en tu presencia seguro estare.

En tu presencia tan solo en tu presencia alli me quedare..

Aunque arrecie la tormenta pero yo en tu presencia seguro estare.. Por que tu eres mi refugio mi ciudad amurallada dentro de ti me esconderé.

(Translation: In your presence, only in your presence, will I be safe. In your presence, only in your presence, will I stay. Even if a storm arises, I in your presence I will be safe, because you are my refuge, my walled city, and in you I will hide.)

I felt I needed to share this because these last couple of weeks have been filled with change, confusion, and trials. I recalled that in time of need is when one must have the most faith, because it is in weakness that we gain strength. The only thing I have left to do is have trust and faith that I will be okay, no matter what.

So when the storm comes, don't forget you can seek refuge in God.
